COMPASSIONATE
PERFORMANCE
A pioneering approach to life, leadership and culture
Compassionate Performance is the operating system of any human-centric, values driven organisation, that is, any organisation that wants to put thriving people and deeper purpose at the heart of everything they do.
We are on a mission to harness the innate power of deep connection to ourselves, others and a higher purpose to achieve the extraordinary. In order to do that we train, coach and support people and teams to develop both the mindset and skillset of Compassionate Performance.
We believe that there are three fundamental pillars to creating high performing, thriving teams.
Psychological safety - team members that feel seen, heard and valued and so feel connected to and supported by those around them.
Autonomy - people have a high level of freedom to do their work as they see best and can influence the way work is done in the team.
Contribution - people feel able to utilise their competencies for the benefit of the greater good, which is naturally accompanied by high levels of accountability to align with team or organisational goals.
We have developed The Compassionate Performance Model, as the blueprint for building and sustaining these pillars.

The Compassionate Performance Model

The model highlights the mindset shift and skillset development required to create and sustain these thriving environments.
First we must Care
A genuine, compassionate philosophy of life is the essential foundation for creating the connection to our authentic selves and each other that everything else can build from.
And we must Listen
To truly understand and connect with others, to be able to serve them and the collective good effectively, me must listen deeply and from a place of presence and balance. The deepest level is listening for emergence, from where new potential solutions and ideas can spring.
Only after that must we Act
We must act with integrity, in line with our words, our values and our vision for what we want to contribute in the world. Acting with integrity and compassion requires courage and skill, all of of which can be learned and practiced. Skills such as coaching and mentoring, giving and receiving feedback, effective conflict handling, are essential to employing this approach. This is where the rubber hits the road for Compassionate Performance.

The Compassionate Performance Model is a blueprint for creating high trust, psychologically safe environments that allow us to bring our best to work, as individuals and collectively.
